Established in 1963, following the popularity of Zhongshan Hall on the oppoosite side of the base. It was a performance venue and cinema for members of the ROC navy stationed at the nearby base. Later it was opened to members of the public. Known for screening foreign films. Although the theater shut down it is still publicly accessible as a hotpot restaurant.
