Established in 1934 as Kōryū-za (興隆座). It was a reinforced concrete building with seating for 560 on the ground floor and an additional 234 on the balcony level. Somewhat unusual for the time, it was owned and operated by Taiwanese led by Wang Cheng-chi (王稱奇). After the war the name was changed and it continued to operate for a time. Certainly demolished later on.
