This private members’ club on Bei’an Road in Zhongshan has its roots in the American Club in China (ACC), an organization established at Military Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG) NCO Open Mess, better known as Club 63, sited in this area since the mid-1950s. After the withdrawal of US forces from Taiwan in 1979 it underwent a change of name but continued to operate. Later renovations completely reshaped the original facilities and membership is now open to more than just Americans in Taiwan.
