A three-sided courtyard house (三合院) built around 1940 in the rolling hills of Yuanli, its door plaque bearing the hall name Lanling Hall (蘭陵堂) of the Xiao (蕭) family. Left locked and overgrown after the family emigrated, it was later tidied up and is now maintained by the Xiao family themselves, who offer informal guided visits.
