The former residence of Qiu Wenjin (邱文金), a baozheng (保正) or official of the hokō (保甲) system of community policing during the Japanese colonial era, in the hills of Tongxiao, Miaoli. Known as Henan Hall (河南堂), the compound features an angled gatehouse (門樓) and ornamental majolica tiles (花磚).
