Established in 1980 on the fifth floor of Ten Ten Department Store (天天百貨), a sprawling mixed-use complex near Taoyuan Station. There was likely also a Jinzuo Theater (金座大戲院) in the same building. As business declined the department store was mostly converted into residential units with parking at ground level. The theater likely closed toward the end of the 1980s. It was also known simply as Ten Ten Theater (天天戲院). Only a small sign at ground level indicates there was ever a theater here, though parts of the building seem inaccessible as of 2024, and there’s a chance the original halls are still locked away inside.
