Established by Wu Xiquan (吳喜泉), the first female doctor in Taitung, in 1943. She studied at Tokyo Women’s Medical College before returning to her hometown to work at a local hospital. After a year she opened her own clinic specializing in pediatric care, internal medicine, and dermatology. Likely closed in the late 1980s or early 1990s, although the later history seems uncertain.
