Tainan Public Hall (原臺南公會堂)

Completed in 1911, this was the first modern venue for public gatherings in Taiwan. In the post-war period it was renamed Zhongshan Hall (中山堂). It was designated a municipal monument in 1998 and is usually open to the public with various exhibitions on display.
