Two Japanese colonial era timber duplexes built in West District, Taichung, in the 1930s as dormitories for junior officials of Taichung Prefecture. Early residents included doctors at Taichung Hospital, public school teachers, and staff of the Datun District Office; the houses remained staff housing after the war but were eventually abandoned after the last residents moved out. Registered as a historic building in 2013, the site was long abandoned before restoration finally got under way around 2025.
