A two-storey timber dormitory completed in 1938 for unmarried staff of the Taichung Prefecture Land Readjustment Association (臺中州土地整理組合) in what is now West District, Taichung. After the Japanese colonial era the Taichung County tax office took it over, initially as a singles dormitory and later as family housing. Laid out in a U-shaped plan and clad in weatherboard, it is one of very few two-storey official wooden buildings of its kind left in the city; it was registered as a historic building in 2016 and dismantled for restoration in 2024.
