Sanwan Township (三灣鄉) is a small rural township in northern Miaoli County with approximately 6,700 residents spread across 52 square kilometers. The township is known for its historic Sanwan Old Street (三灣老街) and the Yongheshan Reservoir (永和山水庫), which submerged several traditional houses when it was constructed.
