A disused railway yard next to Qianzhen Export Processing Zone (前鎮加工出口區) in Qianzhen, Kaohsiung, opened in June 1970 to shunt locomotives and freight cars bound for the zone. It was one of four yards on the Kaohsiung Harbour Line (高雄臨港線), the others being Qianzhen, Lingyaliao (苓雅寮), and Caoya (草衙), all administered by the now-abolished Kaohsiung Harbour Station (高雄港站). Traffic on the western section of the line ceased in November 2008 and the yard was formally decommissioned in July 2011, leaving a dormitory and an office building standing in a state of ruin.
