Established in the late Japanese colonial era to provide entertainment for Japanese soldiers at the nearby airbase in Pitou, Changhua. The theater is now a Fresa Supermarket (主婦生鮮超市). It is the original structure, but heavily renovated. The balcony can still be seen from the interior, but the exterior shows few indications it was ever a theater.
