A cluster of air raid shelters in Mituo Park (彌陀公園) in central Mituo, originally built for the staff of the village office (庄役場) to take cover in during World War 2. Okayama Airfield (岡山機場) lies immediately to the east—and it was a frequent target for allied bombing runs late into the war. The shelters have since been repurposed into playground equipment.
