林邊崎峰村萬應公廟

An incomplete Wanyinggong (萬應公) temple beside the Qifeng embankment (崎峰堤防) in coastal Linbian, Pingtung. The complex was intended to have a dormitory or other facilities and features an imposing castle-like gate but it was never finished and has remained derelict into the mid-2020s. In 2009 a local man who came each evening to worship and close its doors was killed on the embankment road in front of it; press coverage at the time described the unfinished structure as frequented by drug users.
