A former campground, park, and activity center on the northern coast of Taiwan. It went out of business in 2023 as part of the ongoing ill-gotten gains investigations into KMT party assets. Since then it has quickly accumulated garbage and a reputation for being a “mosquito hall”, representing a waste of public resources. The iconic Guangfu Building (光復樓) has been in the news a bunch as of 2023. The semi-abandoned state may be temporary if various levels of government can coordinate and take care of the situation.
