A historic commercial street over 300 years old, often called Jinbaoli Old Street (金包里老街) after the original Ketagalan name for the settlement. The only remaining Qing dynasty old street on Taiwan’s north coast, it was a major trading hub for agricultural and fishing goods before the arrival of the modern era. Nowadays it is extensively redeveloped for tourism.
