Established in 1898, this elementary school is among the oldest in Hsinchu. While most of the campus has been redeveloped over the years two Japanese colonial era structures have been recognized for their heritage value: Bailing Building (百齡樓), a block of classrooms completed in 1937; and Tongxin Hall (同心堂), an auditorium completed in 1933. Permission is required to enter school grounds and you may need to visit outside of regular hours.
