A Catholic church in Douliu, Yunlin, tracing its origins to a mission established in 1882. The original church was destroyed in the anti-Japanese turmoil of 1895, rebuilt in brick by the Dominican order in 1918, and destroyed again by the 1941 Chiayi earthquake. The present Baroque-style building, completed in 1953, features a prominent dome and couplets on the exterior walls attributed to the Kangxi Emperor, rendered in calligraphy by Yu Youren (于右任) and Jia Jingde (賈景德).
