Not much is known about this Japanese colonial era martial arts hall, but it was likely situated in the vicinity of Douliu Xingqi Memorial Hall (斗六行啟記念館). In the post-war period it was destroyed to clear space for an air raid shelter, police dormitories, and other structures. Part of the foundation may remain on site and it is suspected that the komainu (狛犬) guarding the nearby Tianxing Temple (天興宮) might originate from this martial arts hall.
