Located beside Douliu West Market (斗六西市場) in Douliu, Yunlin, this eclectic-style reinforced brick building established around 1915 originally housed Douliu Street Credit Union (有限責任斗六街信用組合). The institution was reorganized several times through the colonial and post-war periods before the building was converted to the Douliu Farmers’ Association Dongxing Branch (斗六農會東興分行) in 1981. Despite its obvious heritage value it has not yet been recognized.
