Rinan Theater (日南戲院) opened around 1950, but it did not remain in business for long. Transportation connections to central Dajia were such that people would often just go there to watch movies, so it closed in the 1960s. It was originally located down an alleyway opposite the train station and across from a barber shop (孟春理髮店), which is now the site of a fancy new residential complex.
