An immense theater established in 1970. Allegedly it had 3,000 seats, which might be an exaggeration. Business declined over the 1990s and the entire theater was demolished and rebuilt as a multi-tenant commercial complex, with the theater relegated to the basement. In this later stage the entrance was on Zhenlan Street (鎮瀾街). Finally out of business around 2013, with the signboards and ticket booth dismantled by 2014. Whether anything remains of the interior is unknown. The second generation of this theater is still visible on Google Street View in history mode.
