An ornate Japanese colonial era residence with a neo-Baroque façade completed by wealthy local businessman Huang Qingbo (黃清波) between 1924 and 1926. It is a four-sided structure with an inner courtyard. The overall design typifies a Chinese, Japanese, and Western fusion not uncommon among the gentry at that time. Also known as Dajia Dehua Village Huang Residence (大甲德化里黃宅).
