Dajia Chenghuang Temple (大甲城隍廟) - Spectral Codex
大甲城隍廟

A city god temple in Dajia, Taichung. An earlier temple once stood within the north gate of the Dajia walled town, built in 1827, until the gate was removed during Japanese colonial era street widening. The present temple dates to 1958, when local devotees established it beside the town’s newly built Second Market (第二市場) with incense carried from the top-ranking Hsinchu Chenghuang Temple. The current hall was completed in 1993.
