Established as Yushan Theater (玉山戲院) in 1958 by Lin Youshan (林有山), this was a large theater with a stated capacity of 680 a mere 30 meters from the front of Chishang Station. Prior to the electrification of the town in 1962 it was primarily a venue for traditional opera and glove puppetry. By the late 1960s it had been renamed, possibly because the original theater suffered damage in a fire, or simply because it was rebuilt. At any rate, it was one of three golden age cinemas operating in Chishang. Demolished long ago.
