A group of Japanese colonial era wooden dormitories built from 1936 for staff at Chishang Public School (池上公學校), the predecessor of Fuyuan Elementary School (福原國小). The principal’s dormitory, originally home to first principal Horio Kazuhiko (堀尾一彥), was rescued from demolition and restored by a volunteer craftsman during the pandemic, then converted into Chiang Hsun’s Study (蔣勳書房) in 2023.
