Perhaps due to the remote location of the original Chishang Shinto shrine, a second-generation shrine was constructed behind Chishang Public School (池上公學校), which is now Fuyuan Elementary School (福原國小). Not much is known about it; even the name is just a placeholder. It survived into the new millennium and was finally demolished in 2011, leaving no trace.
