Established in 1964 by Xu Huanguang (徐煥光) and his family members on Qingfu Road (慶福路). Mr. Xu had already founded the Renhetang Pharmacy (仁和堂藥房) just around the corner in Chishang, and would also invest in Zhonghua Theater in Guanshan, which opened soon thereafter.
