A small saltworks outside of Haomei Village (好美村) established as early as 1906. In the post-war period it was integrated into Budai Saltworks (布袋鹽場) as the Tenth Production Area, Fourth Subdistrict (第十生產區第四分區). Most facilities at this site have long been demolished but there are a few reinforced-concrete foundations left, possibly from salt storage facilities (塩納屋).
