An institutional shrine (構內社) presumably associated with the saltworks (台灣製鹽) and Monopoly Bureay operation (專賣局布袋出張所) in this area and completed in January 1942. Not much is known about its later history but it was probably destroyed sometime after the war. Known as Butsu-sha in the original Japanese.
