Not much is known about this theater apart from its name, which might be a corruption of some other variation on “New Stage”. One comment in a Budai area Facebook group suggests an old theater was located at Yongle Street, Lane 4, No. 2. (永樂街四巷二號) and demolished in 1961. By a process of elimination it seems possible this was the theater in question so it is provisionally assigned this location.
