An early theater made entirely out of wood. It was originally a restaurant by the name of Daguanyuan (大觀園酒家) and then a theater for several decades. Around 1984 converted into an ice skating rink, and then in 1989 it became Changqing KTV (長青卡拉OK), before it was eventually demolished. It seems the theater business may have also been renamed at some point to Gangdu Theater (港都戲院), and it was more generally known simply as Budai Theater (布袋大戲院). In the 1980s it was renovated into a KTV in the 1980s and eventually demolished. Although the location is not precise it was likely across from the bus station on this side of town.
