A veterans’ home established in Beinan, Taitung City, in 1956. In 1959 admission was extended to elderly, disabled, and seriously wounded NCOs and enlisted men. By 2013 only around 157 residents remained, and on November 1 of that year, under a restructuring of the Veterans Affairs Council (VAC), this facility was merged into Malan Veterans Home as the Malan Veterans Home Taiping Branch (馬蘭榮譽國民之家太平分部). The remaining residents were transferred to Malan and the branch was formally closed in 2014. The land was transferred to the county government in 2018 and demolition of the site began in 2021.
