A sugar factory with a storied history on the northern side of Yongkang. It was known by various names in the Japanese colonial era, particularly Sankandian Sugar Factory (三崁店製糖所). It was later renamed simply Yongkang Sugar Factory (永康糖廠) in 1969. Officially closed in 1993 and mostly demolished in the decades that followed, although the former Shinto shrine and some air raid shelters can still be found in the area. The original site of the factory is now mostly occupied by a logistics company.
