Established in 1760, this Guangong temple lays claim to being the oldest of its kind in the Taipei Basin. The complex was extensively damaged in Zhangzhou-Quanzhou infighting in 1853 and rebuilt in 1868 to its present three-court form. An ongoing 1999 restoration was set back by the 921 Earthquake, which collapsed the central hall ridge and cracked the walls. It wsa reconsecrated in January 2002 and is recognized for its heritage value.
