A former district-level (鄉社) Shinto shrine completed in Xinzhuang in June 1937. It was dismantled in 1950 and converted for use by the Xinxing Research Institute (新興血清研究所). Since 1966 it has been the site of Hotai Automotive Factory (和泰汽車興建工廠). Several relics of the shrine are preserved at Xinzhuang Dizang Temple (新莊地藏庵), including a pair of komainu, two mikoshi, and some stone lanterns. It was known as Shinshō-jinja in the original Japanese.
