An early post-war theater and performance venue in Xinying. There is an urban legend that it was destroyed in a fire that also claimed the lives of an entire opera troupe, but it is difficult to determine if this has any basis in fact. It also may have been converted into a garment factory, and that later burned down. Either way, the former site has become a focus for ghost stories in the area. Recently it was finally redeveloped into a modern residential complex.
