An ancestral hall built in 1906 for the Chen family, who trace their roots to Zhangpu County, Fujian. Chen Shaonian (陳紹年), a Qing dynasty era xiucai and later Japanese colonial government consultant, led the family’s relocation here after floods and fires destroyed previous homes. His son Chen Fanghui became Tianzhong’s first township chief; descendants include doctors, judges, lawyers, and a county magistrate. Designated a county monument in 2015, the left wing was damaged by a fire spreading from a neighboring building in 2024 and is currently under restoration.
