A temple venerating the five gods of fortune (五福大帝). It gives its name to the Xilai Temple Incident (西來庵事件), the last armed uprising of Han Taiwanese against Japanese colonial rule in 1915, as the uprising was originally planned here. The temple was originally located on Tingzijiao Street (亭仔腳街), now Qingnian Road (青年路), further south. In the aftermath of the uprising it was repurposed and eventually dismantled. The building currently as this site only dates back to 2001 but it preserves some relics of the previous temple.
