A night market held from Thursday to Sunday on an open lot at the corner of Haian Road (海安路) and Hewei Road (和緯路) in the North District of Tainan. It is among the largest in southern Taiwan with close to 400 stalls. Itinerant markets took root on the reclaimed fish ponds of Zhengziliao (鄭子寮) after the city banned stalls from the downtown Minzu Road night market in 1983, and this one began nearby on leased land in 1999. It moved to its present site in 2005, a lot zoned for a future park, and many of its vendors also work Dadong and Wusheng night markets on other nights of the week. The English name varies: Flower Night Market and Huayuan Night Market also appear in print.
