A memorial park on the grounds of the former Yujing Sugar Factory (玉井糖廠) documenting the Tapani Incident (噍吧哖事件) of 1915, the largest armed uprising against Japanese colonial rule in Taiwan. The revolt was led by Yú Qīngfāng (余清芳) and others who used Xīlái Temple (西來庵) in Tainan as a base to recruit fighters and raise funds under the guise of temple renovations; the Japanese military response killed over a thousand people across villages in Yujing and the surrounding countryside. The museum itself is housed in the former sugar factory guesthouse (玉井糖廠招待所), a Japanese colonial era wooden building restored and repurposed in 2015 for the centennial of the incident.
