Tainan Prison (臺南刑務所) - Spectral Codex

The second largest prison constructed during the Japanese colonial era. Completed in 1896, it housed political prisoners as well as petty criminals. Most of the prison was demolished in 1987 and eventually replaced by a huge shopping mall, but several historic structures remain on the northern periphery of the former prison grounds.
