A former Shinto shrine established next to the former Tainan Prison (台南刑務所) in December 1937, although some sources suggest it was established as early as 1912. It was demolished sometime in the post-war period and the site is now Guotai Plaza (國泰廣場). The name is sometimes given as Izuma-sha (泉社).
