Tianwaitian Theater (天外天劇場) - Spectral Codex

The historic Tiānwàitiān Theater (天外天劇場) is hidden in a nexus of alleyways in the area on the south side of the central train station in Taichung. An opera house built in 1936 that underwent many changes over subsequent decades. After the war it operated as Guoji Theater (國際戲院). Later it was converted into Taiyuan Cold Storage (泰源冷凍廠). By the mid-2010s it was derelict, and the property owner finally had it demolished in 2021 despite its obvious historical value.
