Taichung Martyrs’ Monument (臺中昭忠碑) - Spectral Codex

An inconspicuous monument on the east side of Taichung Park (台中公園) next to some tennis courts. It was originally a monument to Japanese soldiers who perished in the invasion of Taiwan in 1895. In the post-war era it was converted into a Victory Monument (勝利碑).
