Twisted railway tracks, a memory of the devastating 921 Earthquake.

A former railway station on the Dongshi Line (東勢線) in Shigang, Taichung. It was established in 1959 and went out of service in 1991. The station and environs were heavily damaged in the 921 Earthquake, leaving a scene of devastation as the railway tracks were torn apart. This scene is now preserved next to a rest stop on the Dongfeng Bicycle Green Way (東豐自行車綠廊).

Decommissioned passenger cars at the former site of the railway station.
