A small railway station on the Western Trunk Line in Shuishang, established in 1911 to serve Nanjing Sugar Factory. Originally named Shuishang (水上), it received its present name in 1949 when a newer station nearby claimed the old designation. The current building dates to 1943, replacing a wooden predecessor destroyed by an earthquake in December 1941, and was constructed during wartime material shortages in using timber frames and plaster to imitate stone walls and masonry.
