A small old street in the hills above Sanzhi, New Taipei, originally settled in the late Qianlong era by the Lu (盧) family from Tong’an, Fujian. It prospered from trade across the Datun Mountains and became Sanzhi’s second-largest settlement in the late 1800s. A handful of old shophouses still line Dianzai Road (店子路).
