An exterior view of the high-rise that once housed Jinguo Theater.

Originally established in 1956 in the heart of Sanchong’s emerging entertainment district. It was demolished and rebuilt into a commercial high-rise, with the second-generation theater operating on the fourth and fifth floors starting in 1994. It went out of business in 2010 and the fourth floor theater halls were converted into a large KTV. The name of the theater can still be seen in the stairwell as of 2025.
